Flower Power

My outfit this Sunday definitely reflects the seventies vibe that was felt as I pieced together each item of clothing. A day of shopping in the sun called for a cute but always comfortable outfit. With that, I started with a simple Abercrombie & Fitch navy maxi dress. The fabulous crochet fringe vest that I found at Marshalls is what really shaped the whole outfit. I love the fringe on the bottom of the vest. It just reminds me of what they wore in the seventies. Shoes have always been my favorite part of an outfit, and these Chinese Laundry tie-up wedges made me love shoes even more. The bow on the front with the floral pattern has crochet peaking out, which ties in the vest perfectly. To hold my shopping essentials, I brought along a Coach wristlet with navy in it to match the dress. The wristlet was big enough to hold like a clutch, which was my preferred way of holding it. For the outfit to be absolutely complete, I slipped on a silver statement ring and a cute summer-y vibe charm necklace from a lovely local boutique I found once on vacation. Overall, this look was perfect for some shopping fun in the summer sun!
