- Coco Chanel
Every gal or guy has their go-to everyday perfume or cologne. It's, like Coco Chanel says, the ultimate and most important unseen accessory one can wear. To me, perfume can embody your personality. Your perfume can change based on the season, your look, or much less your mood! It represents the look your trying to achieve just by a smell - and I think that's incredibly fascinating.
My go-to daily perfume is Pacifica's Vanilla Perfume. It's young and sweet and lifts my mood up every time that I put it on. It lingers after I leave, so that I am often remembered, and to most...I smell like a walking vanilla cupcake. Who wouldn't want to smell like vanilla cupcakes all day long? When I'm not going through just an ordinary day, but rather going somewhere a little bit more upscale, I reach for the all time classic Chloe. It's light and flowery, but has a trace of a bit more maturity. Not the mention the bottle has completely captured my heart.
My love of my countless (seriously, my perfume collection has gotten a little out of hand...) scents led me to slip on this River Island Perfume Bottle T-Shirt. It's got all the elements that I adore. From perfume, minimalism, graphics, to sparkle! I love how the perfume bottles are inspired by the classic Chanel perfume bottles, it gives it a much needed fashionable and girly touch. The minimalism and graphic elements go hand in hand. I am all for a good ol' basic graphic tee - and this one fit the bill. Lastly, and most obviously, this shirt has my love of sparkle all over it! The small rhinestones were the perfect touch, making it not just a run of the mill tee.
After keeping it simple with my go-to pair of jeans, I decided to dress up the look a little bit with my suede Burberry black boots. These boots are basically the love of my life (under the winter shoes category of course, one can never love just one pair of shoes!). I know that spring is here, but the weather hasn't really shown much recognition of the season yet, but suede isn't just a winter fabric anymore. From it's debut on the runway, suede is coming back full force this spring and summer. I'm sorry, it's just, these shoes are literally so classic and chic that I just can't even.
Onwards now to accessories! Along with my perfume, I obviously had to wear my Luxe Perfume Bottle Clutch from The Shopping Bag! This purse has become my prized possession ever since I got it at the beginning of the year (which you can see in my New Year's post!). It's black, it's shiny, and it's the shape of a perfume bottle! What more could one expect for this outfit? It was the final and the perfect last missing piece for this outfit...with the exception of actual perfume of course.
