It's the week of Black Friday, people! Today I'm making it a noir Monday in the midst of getting prepared for all the fabulous deals that this Friday will bring about. What sales are you excited about?
Today I let the inspirational and exuberant city of New York piece together my outfit - and it all revolves around this stellar graphic long sleeve from Helmut Lang. The silver lettering creates the perfect boldness and shine to match my giant Michael Kors hoops. Plus, who doesn't love Helmut Lang's completely flawless minimalist pieces?
When I think of New York, the color scheme of the east coast is what comes to mind. Black and greys dominate, which is fabulous since those are the types of colors that I love wearing. Plus, black is such a fashionable color in itself, some may think it's an easy way out, but I think it screams model off duty.
To add a bit of flare to the top I threw on this snake skin effect jacket by Giuliana Rancic. I honestly didn't know she had her own line until I saw this jacket....but now I have my eye on her Moto Jacket! The snake skin effect of this piece is faint, but close up it makes a total statement.
Paired with my classic Rag & Bone skinny jeans, I also laced up these super comfortable flats from Zara. The laces take once ordinary flats to a whole other level. It spices and sophisticates it up a little bit, and makes me feel like a total ballerina.
Although I do love my color black dearly, it's always important to remember to live life colorfully! Below are a few of my favorites from Helmut Lang!
