In case you didn't know by now, New York City has stolen my heart...and I don't mind. On Instagram (@StepInsideMyCloset) I was posting quite a few (not even sorry) pictures from my recent trip to New York. This is just a glimpse into one of my favorite parts - Central Park.
The first step in going central park chic with a twist of adventure? This color block 'Charlie' jacket by Lovers + Friends. The cozy material kept this girl as warm as I could be when faced with the grossly cold weather New York was dishing out. Ann and cold weather (aka anything below 60 degrees) has me in a 'I don't want to be anywhere but in a warm bed right now' mood. I love the oversized look as well. I always love a completely oversized top or a skin tight look - I can never go in between. You know, typical Libra.
Underneath the comfy coat is a simple turtleneck body suit (love bodysuits! ...except in the ladies room.) This turtle neck is by Rag & Bone which just makes me adore it even more. There is nothing better than a good black turtleneck. It's effortless, classic, and I could probably own a million.
Paired with my go-to black high waisted jeans by Just Black Denim, it's time for the shoes. I am not a nature oriented girl or a hiker for that matter. Never have been, and most likely never will be - but that doesn't mean I can't play the part. This rock solid and extraordinarily comfortable UGG boots were the perfect fit for a rock climbing day in Central Park. Plus, they're like a heel without the heel. The height they give me indulge my every short girl need. Climbing the rocks to see that fabulous view of the city was so worth it in these babies.
Speaking of babies - I've added a new bag to my collection. The Heavens opened up and out dropped a Celine tote into my hands. I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry. Who wouldn't cry of joy when faced with a Celine bag?
I think that's a good note to end on...Celine and Central Park - a match made in Heaven.
